  • Miss Natalie - Principal

I began pursuing my passion for dance at the age of 3 starting my own dancing journey training, taking IDTA dance examinations in; ballet, modern jazz, tap and theatre craft along with competing all over the UK winning Championship Titles and also making the “Miss Dance of Great Britain” finals for two consecutive years. I went on to further my training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds studying both on their CAT (Centre for Advanced Training) Scheme as well as the full-time Foundation Course. I then moved on to study for three years at London Studio Centre gaining a First Class BA (Sons) in Theatre Dance.

Through my extensive training, I have been able to work alongside some of the industries leading choreographers for film, television and stage including; Rufus Norris, Javier de Frutos, Anthony Whiteman, Ashley Nottingham, Nikki Trow, Matt Flint and many others. I have also been fortunate enough to gain teaching experience at some prestigious schools including; London Studio Centre and West London Dance Academy before opening my own dance studio here in Huddersfield.

I continue to develop my professional career and further my teaching through training with the IDTA constantly bettering myself as a teacher to provide the pupils at N D Studios with the best training and experiences.

  • Miss Lily

Miss Lily started her training from the age of 12 and started her journey as many of our pupils do achieving examinations in ballet, tap and modern jazz across various exam boards. As her training progressed she was able to train at both Northern Ballet and Phoenix Youth Theatre on their pre-vocational training courses expanding her stage performance experience and knowledge of diverse dance genres.

Furthering her training, Miss Lily graduated from a 3-year vocational training course in dance and musical theatre at Renaissance Arts in Leeds. Whilst in her training her passion for teaching emerged and went on to peruse and attain a level 4 qualification in teaching under The British Ballet Organisation.

“Transitioning into teaching has felt like a natural progression for me and I am actively looking forward to furthering my professional development as a teacher through the IDTA and N D Studios. I have been at N D Studios for just over a year now and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in empowering and making a difference to the pupils at N D Studios.”
